This victory was not just about the strikers ,Danny C had a great game and Sam W never lost a challenge. Duffman hit the post and Jim D was industrious through out, all the players gave 100%. Watton could only field 10 men and kept in good spirits all through the game, they never gave up.
Good sideline coaching came from new helper Owen as manager Nick as usual sacrificed his one to one involvement by refereeing.

Some good performances were seen from several players although collectively they could not quite match Hethersetts strong attack.

Mulbarton opened the scoring Ben G supplying the finish, the Wanderers enjoyed the benefit of the wind helping the attack but could not capitalise on the advantage sufficiently to score any more before half time.
Second period Nelson equalised with a header, then Adam W scuffed a great chance to put Mulbarton back in front. Goal keeper Stuart pulled off a great save to keep the Wanderers in the match, followed shortly by Adam W making amends by putting Mulbarton back in the lead. Wanderers 3 Hethersett 2

Full credit to Hethersett for contributing to a well contested match although they could only field 10 men.

Wanderers 0 Rocklands 7

A strong wind in Mulbarton's favour dictated the early play as both teams battled well to try to gain the upper hand.
Eventually Rocklands took the lead and only a good stop from keeper Stuart from a one on one situation kept the visitors out. Just before half time Rocklands scored again ,although the Wanderers had enjoyed the lions share of possession.
The second half turned into a goal feast for Rocklands as they went on to score five more goals. Mulbarton heads dropped and they never really got going. A late Rocklands penalty was saved by the keeper, this was a small positive on a game that will be best forgotten quickly for the home side .
